Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said a letter he received from Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday was about general matters on the current situation of the country and not concerning a power transfer.
In KUALA LUMPUR, Anwar today had claimed that he had sent a letter to the Prime Minister requesting a meeting to discuss a peaceful transfer of power to the Pakatan Rakyat coalition.
He claimed that he had enough Members of Parliament to form the new government. - nst
