Tindakan politik kucing kurap

KUALA LUMPUR 5 Sept. - Tindakan Penasihat Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yang bersungguh-sungguh mahukan isterinya, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dicalonkan sebagai Menteri Besar Selangor disifatkan sebagai politik 'kucing kurap'.
Bekas Setiausaha Pas Cawangan Kampung Banjar Baru, Batu Caves, Mohamed Nabi Bux Mohd.

Bukan Kelakar: Anwar cabar Wan Azizah jawatan Presiden PKR

Menakutkan!!!... Pakatan hilang 11 pemimpin besar.

  1. Husam Musa (Putrajaya)
  2. Salehudin Ayub (Parlimen Pulai & DUN Nusajaya)
  3. Mahfuz Omar (Pokok Sena)
  4. Mat Sabu (Pendang)
  5. Khalid Samad (Shah Alam)
  6. Fuziah Salleh (Kuantan)
  7. Nurul Izzah (Lembah Pantai)
  8. Zuraidah Kamarudin (Ampang)
  9. N Surendran (Padang Serai)
  10. Shamsul Iskandar Mat Akin (Bukit Katil)
  11. Lim Kit Siang (Gelang Patah)
Tunggu saja riuh rendah rakyat  Marang sedang mempertikaikan kepimpinan Hadi Awang sendiri..

Sabah PKR beats Anwar in naming candidates

This is a test of whether the party leadership is sincere in its promise to give us autonomy, says Ansari Abdullah.

PKR Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR, pre-empting any likely ‘hijacking’ by Kuala Lumpur, hurriedly announced its seven candidates for the state’s west coast region.
Tuaran PKR chief Ansari Abdullah said Sabah PKR had “taken the liberty” of making the announcement based on an earlier promise by Pakatan Rakyat leaders, including Anwar Ibrahim, of giving “autonomy” for the state coalition’s decisions.
He said the candidates were himself for Tuaran constituency and surgeon-activist-author Dr Chong Eng Leong for Sepanggar.
Others were Mazhry Nasir (Putatan), Anthony Mandiau (Kota Marudu), Mursalim Tanjul (Kudat), Saidil Semoi (Kota Belud) and Johanathan Yassin (Ranau).
When unveiling the list late yesterday in Sabah PKR headquarters in Penampang, Ansari said: “We have taken the liberty to release the names of the seven candidates that have been picked by the respective divisions.
“This is a test of whether the party leadership is sincere in its promise to give us autonomy. We are very confident that the party will pass this test.
“We are very confident that Anwar and the party leaderships of PAS and DAP will honour their commitment that matters involving Sabah will be decided by Sabahans.
Also present were the seven ‘proposed’ candidates and other PKR divisional chiefs.
According to Ansari, the candidates had been identified as far back as two years ago, and their backgrounds had been “thoroughly vetted.”
He added that the candidates’ respective divisions had also endorsed them.
Widespread resentment
On possible disputes arising with Pakatan partners PAS and DAP over the candidates, Ansari said the seven divisions had taken a common stand and passed a resolution that “other Pakatan components and allies” should not contest in any of these seven constituencies.
The consensus is seen as a direct response to seat demands by Pakatan’s new local allies Wilfred Bumburing’s APS Sabah and Lajim Ukin’s PPS. Both Bumburing and Lajim are former Barisan Nasional MPs who defected in July last year in support for Anwar.
Anwar’s partiality towards them has triggered widespread resentment with the state’s original party members. Party members look at both Bumburing and Lajim with distrust and believe that they are the reasons why Pakatan has dismissed other local players.
Said Ansari: “Wilfred said during the launch of APS, the purpose was not to fight for candidacy but to help the Pakatan. He also said APS will not take away PKR members…
“Wilfred is my friend, he is an honourable man and I am sure he is a man of his words,” said Ansari.
He said as far as PAS and DAP were concerned, it was a crystal clear situation.
“PAS did not contest any of these seven constituencies as such they have no right to contest.
“DAP obtained lesser votes in Sepangar and Putatan; they even lost to PKR candidates.
“Neither did they contest in any of the other five constituencies, so DAP should not also lodge any claim on these seven constituencies in the West Coast North Zone.
“Therefore, all the seats should go to PKR. This is our stand,” he said adding that he was convinced that the Pakatan leadership was sincere and committed to their promise and collective pledge to honour political autonomy in Sabah.
Not final list
But Sabah PKR chief Ahmad Thamrin however has dismissed Ansari’s announcement saying that the final list of Sabah candidates will only be known next week.
“PKR Sabah confirms receiving Haji Ansari Abdullah’s proposals with reference to the proposed seats and candidates list.
“It was forwarded much earlier on to the presidential council for  final stage of screening, negotiations and discussion.
“The final phase of seat negotiations among Pakatan Rakyat Parties – PKR, DAP & PAS is still ongoing at the Presidential Council level and will be concluded by this weekend.
“Once the seat negotiations are settled, then the next phase will be short listing of candidates to be concluded by the respective parties in Pakatan Rakyat.
“In the case of Sabah, the final announcement (of candidates) will be made possibly on the 12 Apr 2013 in Sandakan,”  he said in a statement this evening.
Thamrin’s statement follows that of deputy PKR president Azmin Ali, who earlier this afternoon, dismissed Ansari’s candidates list as “mere suggestions”.
Azmin’s dismissal of the list highlights the growing discontent between the party’s national leadership and the Sabah leaders.

Plead guilty and pay the fine WSJ tells Anwar.

RIGHT WAY: You can't practise civil disobedience and pretend to be innocent, says daily

KUALA LUMPUR: OPPOSITION leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should plead guilty to taking part in an illegal street protest if he believed the government's reforms were inadequate, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) said.
In an opinion piece titled "Malaysian People's Court, Anwar's civil disobedience and the next election", the influential international financial daily said "if Anwar wants to practise civil disobedience, he can't pretend to be innocent at the same time".
"A more straightforward way to convince the public that the Peaceful Assembly Act (PAA) is an unjust law would be to plead guilty and pay the fine ahead of the election," the publication said in its Review and Outlook Asia column.
Anwar, who is Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and PKR Rembau head Badrul Hisham Shaharin were charged recently with violating a court order by inciting protesters to break the barricades and enter Dataran Merdeka during last month's Bersih 3.0 rally.
They trio were the first to be charged under the PAA, which came into force earlier this year as part of a slew of reforms aimed at greater political freedom.
The WSJ said while Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak deserved credit for his reforms, the opposition also had good reasons to criticise them as inadequate.
"The real question is whether Malaysian society is best served by a faster pace of change or the opposition's confrontational tactics.
"Both sides have to learn to put their faith in the electorate rather than the courts".
The WSJ also said that, with Anwar having twice been exonerated from charges of sodomy, "one might assume this is another politically-motivated prosecution".
"But this case is different. Anwar was practising civil disobedience, and now he is paying the price."

Pelakon P O R N O yang Hadi Awang tidak kenal.

P e l a k o n    P O R N O

PKR WITH MALAYSIAKINI: eying Negeri Sembilan

Just a short one,

to fill up spaceless time. There are quarters who love to see Negeri Sembilan kneel and succumb to the sweetest seduction. PKR cant be serious in going for the big one?, taking state by state?

2. There were days when perceptions run wild and bring about the most wicked in man and woman. While PKR thrives on the seemingly poor performance of Dato Seri Abdullah, they cant expect perceptions to stay warm and nice.

3. PKR has shown its true colour. The phrase "biar pape asal bergaye" made popular by folks in Bota, is still short of summing up the colour spectrum of PKR. Sarawak was flooded but Anwar cant squeeze more time to show his concern. Perak is well polished and the glitters are blinding. Lets rest for a while, in a democratic punctuation. Because the court is calling for another case.

4. Lets forget Negeri Sembilan for a while, because Mohamad Hasan has learned the hardest lesson, and he is coming stronger and definitely wiser!

OH NO WITH MALAYSIAKINI: DAP, PKR and PAS break-up

DAP-PAS-PKR Pact
On Verge Of Break-up?

By Ahmad Fuad Yahya
and Syed Azwan Syed Ali

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- Barely a year after the DAP, PAS and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) pact took over the administration of four states, their leaders appear to be embroiled in a myriad of disagreements.

The relationship between DAP and PAS is already on the rocks, following the latter's proposal to introduce the Hudud law (Islamic penal code), which the DAP made no attempt to hide its displeasure, with PKR taking the middle ground.

A rift has now erupted between DAP chairman Karpal Singh and Pakatan de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over the former's bid to take legal action against the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, over the appointment of Perak's new menteri besar.

Anwar disagreed with the move, saying Pakatan does not want to be seen as going against the Rulers' institution.

In a rare outburst, Karpal Singh told a news conference last Sunday that Anwar should repent and resign as the Pakatan leader as his party-hopping politics had cost Pakatan the state government in Perak.

The DAP veteran, who is Bukit Gelugor member of parliament, also hit out at DAP strongmen Lim Kit Siang and secretery-general Lim Guan Eng for supporting Anwar's brand of politics.

Pakatan has distanced itself from Karpal's bid to file a suit against the Sultan of Perak, saying he was doing so in his personal capacity and (the suit) had nothing to do with Pakatan.

Former Perak menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said it was up to Karpal whether to proceed with the legal action, and that he (Nizar) had no knowledge of it.

Yesterday, Mohammad Nizar filed an application in the Kuala Lumpur High Court, seeking a declaration that he was still the rightful menteri besar of Perak and to bar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, who was appointed menteri besar on Feb 6, from discharging his duties.

Karpal's remarks highlighted Anwar's role in triggering the country's political conundrum at the moment.

The prolonged political crisis in Perak and the court action by Mohammad Nizar and the DAP have diverted public attention from the fact that the whole crisis could be traced back to Anwar.

Immediately after the 12th general election in March, Anwar declared that Pakatan would form the federal government on Sept 16, because 31 of 140 Barisan Nasional (BN) members of parliament would defect to the opposition pact, thus enabling it to form the government with a simple majority.

But Anwar's political game proved to be self-defeating as in the end, Pakatan lost the Perak state government through defections when four of its assemblymen quit their respective parties and declared support to the BN.

Now, leaders like Karpal are questioning Anwar's credibility as Pakatan's de facto leader.

"He (Anwar) is like one who casts a stone and hides his hands," political analyst Prof Dr Ahmad Atory Hussein said in an interview over TV3.

Anwar, who is Permatang Pauh MP, seeks to downplay Karpal's outburst, saying it was a personal view and that their relationship was intact.

But it remains to be seen if Anwar could continue to be a leader acceptable to DAP, PKR and PAS, and if party-hopping would continue to be part of the pact's political game plan.

In the meantime, the fall-out from Pakatan's downfall in Perak has triggered speculation that several assemblymen in Kedah and Selangor would also join the BN, with the possibility of Pakatan losing both state governments, looming like a overcast sky.

The simultaneous by-elections for the Bukit Gantang parliamentary seat in Perak and Bukit Selambau state seat in Kedah on April 7, would be a bitter test for Pakatan's survival under Anwar's leadership.

Can Pakatan retain the two seats they won in the last general election?

Should the results favour the BN, would there be more calls for Anwar to step down?

LAST WEEK WITH MALAYSIAKINI: PKR agents approached us.

As Anwar was shedding tears on the collapse of PR Perak State Government, and as he was complaining about BN takeover as being undemocratic, lets read an old news print. It is about PKR games on political seduction.

Reps:
PKR agents
approached us

Sat, Jan 31, 2009
The Star/Asia News Network
IPOH ,MALAYSIA

The heat has risen a notch in the Perak political scene with claims by several Umno assemblymen that PKR agents had tried to entice them into crossing over.

Sungai Rapat assemblyman Hamidah Osman said that she received a call from a "PKR agent" shortly after Bota assemblyman Datuk Nasarudin Hashim left Umno.

"The person called me while I was in the midst of work and initially requested to meet me in person," she told The Star yesterday.

"I told the agent that I was too busy to meet and said that we could speak over the phone."

The agent, she added, then asked her to leave Umno and join PKR, adding that she would be given a position in the state executive council if she did.

Hamidah claimed the person told her that a meeting with PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim could be arranged if she agreed to cross over.

She declined the offer immediately.

"I still believe very strongly in the Umno spirit and I am firm in my convictions," she said.

Lintang assemblyman Datuk Ahamad Pakeh Adam too claimed attempts had been made to lure him, adding that those who had approached him were PKR strongmen who promised to arrange a meeting with Anwar.

On whether he planned to leave Umno for PKR, Ahamad vaguely replied:

"We will look at the situation. Not yet, there are more stories to be discussed." [Reps: PKR agents approached us AsiaOne, Singapore ]

WITH MALAYSIAKINI: disillusioned with Anwar

I was reading pathmawathy breaking news in malaysiakini on manikavasagam quiting selangor post but remains a supreme council member. It brings me far back in the days of Musa Hitam. It was a day very much like a prelude to the bigger thing, an Umno crisis. It wasn't long after Musa announcement on quiting deputy premiership but remain an MP and still holding all Umno post. Then Team B was loosely created. The rest was history.

2. Tun Mahathir remained as the longest Prime Minister in Malaysia and he is never short of enemies. In a more sober days, I like to see his enemies as mere boys and girls. Some render themselves as poor or bad losers.

3. Now is Manikavasagam. A report in a local newsapaper mentioned about disillusion among Indians. That is not a small matter because, believe it or not, PKR and the whole opposition owed their landslide victory to Indians. I could be wrong, but that's what most like to believe. Hindraf as a movement catapulted Anwar higher than what he should be. Anwar became disillusioned by victory, Indians felt left out and disillusioned too in a different way.

4. Anwar is not a new creature in Malaysia. Others closer to Anwar could have narrated this particular issue on disillusionment better.

5. Feel free to check the report about some felt disillusioned with Anwar.

Malaysia's Indian community disillusioned with Anwar

Disgruntled ethnic Indian leaders from Malaysia's opposition Parti Keadilan have threatened to leave the party.

In fact, one of its three MPs, S Manikavasagam, resigned on Wednesday as state liaison deputy chairman.

For the economically disadvantaged ethnic Indian community in Malaysia, all they want in the New Year are fairer opportunities.

Many said they are unhappy and disillusioned as they felt short-changed by the opposition party led by Anwar Ibrahim, whom they had supported in the last general election.

The 100,000 ethnic Indian members in the coalition, along with the Chinese vote, had helped the opposition to sweep the elections last March.

The ruling Barisan Nasional coalition lost control of five states and was denied the crucial two-third majority for the first time in its 50-year history. Now, many are thinking of forming their own party.

A final decision will be made next week after a meeting with Mr Anwar. Some, however, are urging those involved to keep cool.

Gobind Singh Deo, MP, Puchong, said: "The issue is simply this – having come nine months, is this a right time to throw in the towel and say, 'Look, as far as I am concerned, I don't think anything can happen?' I don't think that's right."

But with the crucial by-election in Kuala Terengganu coming up on January 17, there is little time to restore the image of Mr Anwar's opposition alliance, which is plagued by internal strife.

ANWAR WITH MALAYSIAKINI: quitting and being brutal.

Quittings [quitings?] as reported in Malaysiakini were mostly political. To Zahar Hashim, a better word will be sacked from Umno. The other day Zaid was sacked too, for things he said and did in contrary to the spirit of Umno and Barisan Nasional. These two, for whatever reason you can think of, are bonuses to the opposition. They had helped to throw some negativities into the current government. Manikavasagam will be next.

2. Thats how politics are played these days. But I like to share with readers how leaders were developed in ancient times. Julius Caesar defeated Pompey to rise as the undisputed leader of Rome. But much of Caesar was centred on his successful military campaign and his dictator perpetuo. Caesar never quitted, but he died in the hands of the group led by Brutus. That was a long time ago.

3. Now, Anwar and his era. There is no military campaign to thrive on. Therefore Anwar misses that sweet victory of coming home from the most brutal war after having defeated the most awesome enemy. On that note, how would Anwar rise to stage and gather supporters?.

4. He works on discrediting others and at the same time, not telling his magical strategy to govern this country. Somehow he get by all this while. But when he was cornered on Hudud, as more is voicing their concern on what is Anwar's stand, I guess platform is shaking wild...

5. In ancient times, many died in battles. If they quit they were called traitors and most were killed instantly. Modern times see brutality in a different form, it is no more physical but verbal! Verbal brutalism?

6. A guy I know, had mentioned about quitting smoking for countless times, but he never did. Therefore what one says doesnt have to be the same as what one does. That goes to both Anwar and Manikavasagam.

ANWAR WITH MALAYSIAKINI: RM7million for a house?

Malaysiakini reported that the parliamentary debate on Malaysia Anti Corruption Bill has irked Taib Mahmud's family. But a little note posted in mykmujohor, showing a little bungalow purportedly owned by an opposition leader is worth reading. [ My Kmu Johor.. Read more... ]

2. RM7 million is considered cheap, because to roll the political game over the years require more than that. If he really owns that RM7million bungalow, then good luck to him because a little guy from Ijok who had put a cross on PKR in PRU12 is very much happy with a 70,000 terraced house. If one care to travel from Ijok to Kuala Selangor, one cant miss the many hand painted signboards, "boleh buang tanah disini". That signage has more than one meaning.

3. It will not be nice to probe further unless Manikavasagam [ PKR MP is quitting], the quitting PKR MP would like to throw some light on the reality of PKR political fund! I suppose that is quite a bomb. A much bigger bomb.

beritadarigunung

BERPAKAT DENGAN MALAYSIAKINI: PKR MP Manikavasagam is quitting.

As Gobalakrishnan was denied entry into Sarawak as reported in Malaysiakini, Anwar has taken over headship of both Sabah and Sarawak while Khalid was made liaison chairman for selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

2. However, the MP from Kapar, Manikavasagam said he was quitting because he was dissapointed with the attitude of Selangor PKR leaders. He claimed, they had neglected the needs of the people. He also mentioned in-fighting among the leaders as another reason.

3. “I am very disappointed. My voters know that I’ve been serving them and I don’t want to be cheated again after 50 years,” he said.
