KUALA LUMPUR: Permintex Sanko Technologies Sdn Bhd, the sole supplier of plastic-injected dashboards for Perodua MyVi and Kancil, aims to become a global automotive player, supplying parts to European car manufacturers.
Group managing director Datuk Mohd Zin Baharom said the company was negotiating with car manufacturers from Germany and France.
“We are discussing with certain parties to look at the possibility of setting up a joint-venture company to tap the huge European market.
“But, it is still in the preliminary stage. There are many possibilities. Maybe we are going to supply our parts through Proton Holdings Bhd and its foreign alliance,” he said.
