3001: searching for Patrick LIM

Patrick Lim - Chief Financial Officer Mr. Lim joined the Company in 2005 and currently manages the Company's accounting and financial departments. Mr. Lim is a CFA, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in UK and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Datuk Patrick Lim Soo Kit is a substantialshareholder of the Company(Equine Capital) with indirect interest of22.63%. He is the husband of Datin Wong Mun Yee and nephew to Lim Ah Yee and Lim Ah Chai. DatinWong Mun Yee, Lim Ah Yee and Lim Ah Chai are alsosubstantial shareholders of the Company with indirectinterest of 22.63%.(Equine Capital Bhd, 2004 Annual Report , page 16-17)

The Star today reports Equine executive chairman Patrick Lim highlighting two aspects of the project, which will be officially launched on 12 September 2007:

1. Two new flyovers that Equine associate Abad Naluri will build to connect the PGCC to the Penang Outer Ring Road (another controversial project); and

2. The green credentials of the PGCC - 40 per cent of PGCC to be allocated to “green and open spaces”, carbon-free city

Terengganu Heritage Bay director Datuk Patrick Lim said there were tremendous benefits that Malaysia could derive from the project including breeding a new generation of sailors, infrastructure development, transfer of technology in boat building, sports tourism and entrepreneurship in support services.
