KUALA LUMPUR: It is time that governments including Malaysia accord serious consideration to human rights and that they are integral to human dignity, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim.
“Governments can no longer say they subscribe to the rule of law and yet compromise on the issues of human rights,” he said at a dinner he hosted for the 13th Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions.
