Zahid proposes convention instead of EGM as suggested by Ku Li
KUALA LUMPUR, SUN:
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Zahid Hamidi accused Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah of taking advantage of the party’s hard-pressed situation by calling for an extraordinary general meeting.

Zahid, however, said the party should hold a convention for divisional representatives to meet and air their differences regarding the current state of the party. He said there were many differences of opinion at present.
