Umno Election: Zaid says he was sabotaged in Kota Baru division.

KOTA BARU: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, who failed in his bid to contest Kota Baru Umno division chief's post, claimed he was sabotaged.

The lawyer and former Kota Baru MP said he had already received nominations from 28 branches who held their meetings recently.

However, he was frustrated when the division disqualified 20 of the nominations and nullified the meetings.

"I am fed up with it. These branches nominated me but they were disqualified.

"It is sad that we have laws which cannot be questioned. They do this, yet we can't question it or take it to court." - nst
