Finance Ministry to Najib immediately.

Abdullah takes over as Defence Minister,
Najib made Finance Minister

Abdullah will remain as Prime Minister but will be focussing on religion, social issues and reforms. He will also take over Najib's portfolio as Defence Minister.

Abdullah added that he will not stay on after 2010 but added: “I may go earlier”.
