Even the accusation by by Anwar on BN sounds shrewdly political, salvaging the last sip of political hot coffee, as cards are tumbling down.
Culprit 'known to Wong'
New Straits Times, Malaysia
Police believe the semi-nude pictures of Bukit Lanjan assemblywoman Elizabeth Wong were posted online by someone she knows.City police chief Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman said this meant the pictures were not posted online by anyone wishing to frame her for political reasons.
He also denied police had detained two men in connection with the case.
Sabtu said to date only four reporters and Wong had been called to have their statements recorded while police were still looking for her ex-boyfriend, Hilmi Malek.
"We are only looking for Hilmi as he can shed some light into the case."Sabtu also said a 10-man investigating team, including forensic experts visited the Malay Mail office in Petaling Jaya at 2.30pm yesterday.
"They were there to ascertain the person who had handed in the CD containing the images."
He said the team viewed the closed-circuit television camera recordings of the premises and seized them.
