KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- The remains of the three people killed so far in the landslides in Taman Bukit Utama and Taman Bukit Mewah, Bukit Antarabangsa, were claimed today by their respective families.
The body of Shaiful Khas Shahrudin, 20, was claimed by his family at about 4pm for burial at the Al-Ridzuan Mosque cemetery, Hulu Kelang, after Asar prayer.
Shaiful, the younger of two sons of Datuk Shahrudin Adnan, 63, was buried under an avalanche of earth that destroyed the family's two-storey bungalow.
The body of S. Yogeswari, 40, a veterinarian, was also claimed by her family at 3.30pm. She was killed in the landslide while trying to save her 10-year-old son.
According to a relative, she would be cremated at the Cheras Crematorium tomorrow.
The third dead victim, accountant Eng Yee Peng, 30, who gave birth two months ago, was among a family of eight who lived in one of the affected bungalows.
It is learnt that her body will be cremated on Monday.
